Five Stars App Solutions was founded in June 2021 by our Founder and CEO, Josette Cole-Pinnix , a serial entrepreneur, industrial and mechanical engineer with 15 years experience in various industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas , data analysis and tech. In 2013, Josette was among 78 women to represent her country as a Techwoman at the Silicon Valley, CA where she was introduced to design thinking and UX design. She has won several accolades including two awards for designing an ice making machine in 2007. Along with co-founder Arnold Bhebhe , they have both excelled as first place winners in several cohorts and pitch competitions namely, Enrich, I-Corps and Nexcubed;where the majority of our solutions were tested and validated using customer discovery strategies. The goal is to make digital solutions easily accessible and affordable for local communities and businesses
